My name is Gabriel, I study topics in International Macroeconomics. My work to date centers largely around the consequences of sovereign default risk for the maturity structure of public debt, sectoral reallocation patterns, capital accumulation, and fiscal-monetary interactions.

News: The Feb 2020 version of "Bargaining over Mandatory Spending and Entitlements," is now available. We study the design of budget rules, in the context of legislative bargaining with endogenous status quo, and characterize incentives to under/over-provide public goods.
